I also experienced a lot of disconnects with Toshiba software stack.
First I also though I can't make it work through MS BT Stack, but later I succeeded in it.
The pairing is easy enough, but very not straight forward in the first place, because it ask you to enter some code at pairing >_< No matter what code I entered the pairing was always failing. I knew I should pair without a code, but it always asked for code... so i always entered some. Then I left code field black and clicked "next". Accidentally it got paired.
Then you should start Dolphin and choose "real wii mote" in controller settings. Then press Refresh button and press Ok. Wii mote should vibrate if everything is fine.
That way I stopped to get disconnects out of nowhere, but getting disconnect a lot when playing sound through speaker.
