Hello there. I spent a long time researching the right way to get my wii remote synced with my computer. I did it. I used a Targus USB dongle with the microsoft stack. It works absolutely perfectly with wiinremote. The first time I loaded up Dolphin with my wii remote, the buttons worked but no movements worked.

I have use real wii remotes checked. When I click refresh wii remotes, my remote vibrates.

In Wii Sports I get absolutely nothing. In warioland shake it, I can click through the opening warning, but then it says "Communications with the Wii Remote have been interrupted".

When I tried playing Super Mario Galaxy (used SVN 4535 instead of 4771), it threw up this error message:

"IPC CommandDisconnect: WiiMote emulation is out of sync. This message will be shot one time only, because Dolphin does not execute the disconnect at all and sometimes you can keep playing anyway. You are strongly recommended to save the game and/or restart the emulation."

Any help the community could give would be more than appreciated, I really want to start playing wii on my laptop. Thanks!

EDIT: Now when I play Super Mario Galaxy I get the same Communications interrupted error.

EDIT: Now I can sometimes get the wii remote buttons to work with wario land shake it, but not all the time, and the shaking (movement) never works.

I've done all that. Do you have any further advice?

If you sync Wiimote with windows/linux via Bluetooth utility, before you attach it to Dolphin, it will be fully in sync.

Though in later revisions, if you already installed it once, it should automatically work every time when you go to Wiimote plugin and click refresh.

Is your Wiimote a 3rd party product or original Nintendo?
