Wiimote vibrates when I push refresh, but doesn't work in game

I have connected my Wiimote with my Windows 7 computer. The Bluetooth software I'm using is the microsoft one.

The player 1 light is on solid. When I push the refresh button on the wiimote configuration, the motor goes off.

When I run any of the 3 games I have (skyward sword, smash bros, SMB), there is no ingame response to the controller. The home button does nothing. Alt-F5 shows the controller connected.

I have found another thread with the exact same issue as me, but it has no resolution posted. That OP posted a youtube video of him connecting the Wiimote from scratch, and he has the exact same problem as me.

Youtube video of my issue(by someone else):

Thoughts? Ideas?

Here's another thread with my issue, but the solution posted doesn't work for me, nor does it make any sense:

Another thread with the same issue, posted solution is to buy bluesoleil. I will try to test this, but I don't believe in it.

This forum is not of much help in your case. This is a known problem.

Main problems is you probably have a third party Wiimote (not the original nintendo Wiimote)
Second problem you may have a shitty bluetooth dongle that doesnt handle Wiimote data stream and protocols.

Try SVN rev 7271 IT WILL WORK, but you wont benefit the huge progress that have been made since then!

Here you have a link to the main site to download rev 7271 http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html?list=29

I had the same issue. steps I took to solve it:

Step 1: contact some chick on craigslist for her (official nintendo) wii mote and nunchuck for like 20 usd

Step 2: went home and test it with my iogear bluetooth adapter bluesoilel stack on mario galaxy 2..... Sucess

Step 3: went to gamestop with the nyko package wii mote and nunchuck (without the batteries or silicone case) thru it at the attendent at the register and demanded my money back Big Grin...

Odd, because this Wiimote looks a lot like a genuine Nintendo Wiimote. I borrowed it, so I don't have original packaging, but as far as I can tell it's totally legit.

Any easy way to tell if it's not Nintendo? Also, how important is it that it's a better bluetooth adaptor?

I got the Toshiba stack properly installed with the hardware ID for my BT dongle, restarted and applied the crack, paired the Wiimote with the Toshiba software.

Dolphin is doing the same thing as before, refresh works and causes the Wiimote to show as player 1, but there is no ingame response to the controller. Is there any other software I can use to test if I can receive data from the Wiimote? How can I look at the raw IR camera feed?

Same issue. I had to uninstall the Toshiba stack and go back to the MS one, but neither changed anything.

Still pairs up properly, but no in game response.

So it has to be either the Wiimote or the Bluetooth dongle I'm using?
