I know that when connecting to a regular Wii Console, an Infrared Sensor Bar is required. Do I need one of those to use the Wiimote via bluetooth? Will the functions of the Wiimote be limited, such as using the pointer?

Will the functions of the Wiimote be limited, such as using the pointer? i would not recommend buying a Infrared Sensor Bar. there are other ways of doing this. 1:if you have a sensor-bar(normal one) then all you need to do is connect it to you wii, and then turn the "wii on", make sure to place on top off(or under, depending on your settings, on dolphin)of your pc. 2:if you dont have a sensor-bar, all you need is two candles/lamps(those you use to light things up, if yo don't have electricity) and place them on top off you pc (make sure they stay in place)...and the same afect happen's with the lights from a Christmas tree. and that is it! you dont need to do anything else...and as far as i know there is no limited(it may depend on the game)! hope this helps ![]() 03-25-2016, 06:55 AM

Like the previous post says, you can use any type of sensor bar (including ones that connect to a Wii, but also wireless and USB ones) or two light sources like candles. 03-25-2016, 07:10 AM

What the hell that actually works? I was thinking that the sensor bar sent data to the wii via usb, but I guess not. Thanks. |
