Wiimote troubles

Hi all,

I open a thread (many others exist i think...) and i'm asking for some help.

I've bought a dongle bluetooth / wiimote + / sensor bar /nunchuk and batteries! XD to play with my wiimote on dolphin.

So i was playing at games with my keyboard+mouse classic combo...
But some games are mostly unplayable with this combo.
So i want to go wiimote.

I have a bluetooth problem. When put my bluetooth device in the computer he says that he installed correctly the drivers, and he is working fine.
So i'm checking for wiimote, the wiimote is in SYNC MODE and my computer find it as a game controller HID.
Then i launch my dolphin emulator. And impossible to "activate my wiimote" by looking for pairing...
I tryed with bluesoleil and he doesn't working aswell...He is not founding any bluetooth device...

I'm asking for some help, and i'm waiting here for questions, or answers.

Thank you

P.S: Happy new year and sorry but i'm french xD

Bonjour!

0) reboot computer (make sure it's clean and fresh)
1) Close dolphin
2) Uninstall bluetooth wiimote (from bluetooth devices in windows).
3) Add bluetooth device in windows. follow instructions.
4) Press 1 and 2 on wiimote to enter pair/synchro mode (or press little red button inside battery compartment). all 4 lights will flash on wiimote.
5) wait for device to install - continue following instructions.
6) then open dolphin.
7) click on wiimote button on toolbar
8) click on wiimote 1 and set it to "real wiimote".
9) click on pair button.
10) wiimote will vibrate for a moment (if you have motion) and only light #1 will stay lit to indicate paired. Also, on screen to left of pair button it will indicate "1".
11) Play!

You make have to repeat steps 1-10 every time...Sad

A+

Not the OP so can't speak for him but I have gone through every step listed above, everything works flawlessly up to step 10. My wiimote will continue to flash all 4 lights for a while and eventually shut off. Dolphin will continue to say 0 connected

No, it is not. i have never been able to get this wiimote to work with windows. it always shows up as RVL-CNT-01.

On a side note, the wiimote does work in the linux build.

Are you using a Mac with linux, and running Windows through bootcamp then? Just checking to make sure you are using the same pc for both operating systems. If the Wiimote shows up as RVL-CNT-01, then atleast it isnt related to the new Wiimote issues, and if your using the same pc for both OS, then i would assume that the Bluetooth adapter aint the problem either, seeing as it works with linux.

It's an official Wiimote right? Also, i kinda need to know what you are doing in order to find out whats wrong.

No, it is a windows build, fresh build, about 24 hours old. Same hardware as I was running for linux, only exception is i recently upgraded to SSD, reason for the new OS. I don't believe it is an official wiimote. Couldn't tell you much about it other than its FCC ID if you can look it up through their database. YFK-09117901.

More specifically if it matters

Win 7 Ult. x64
Dolphin 3.0-319 x64
Gigabyte GA-EG31M-S2 Rev. 1.0
Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 @2.33
4GB Ram
EVGA 1 GB 9800GT
Asus USB-BT21
