wiimote timed out by system on New super Mario bros.

i need help wit thiz prob. im using a ps3 controller to play tha new super mario bros game on tha 4771 build and after 5 to 10 mins of game play i get a message that says tha wiimote has timed out by the system and the games will freeze and wont come out of the freeze part until i cut it off and cut get back on then it does it again. how do i fix thiz so i can play tha game as long as i want with my ps3 controller hooked up to the usb port???? and stop tha wiimote timed out crap. any help would make me very happy at this point. thanks from dennis

1. Enable Render to Main Window disable panic handlers
2. When you are disconected push [Enter] then push [alt+f5] then [Enter] one more time. (do not attempt to toggle screen size / fullscreen during this time)

also check to make sure you bluetooth device is not on some power saving mode.

this is what im using right now, ive played for about 2 hours without a single problem

*you said you are using 4771, i think that build still has some problems with the wiimote sync, i have a logitech pad BTW

naroth thank u 4 that build but after 10 mins it did it az well with tha same prob. how do u have urs set up?? i really want to play thiz game with my ps3 controller hooked up to usb port but every build i try does tha same thing it says wiimote has timed out by system do u want to re connect and every time u hit reconnect it it freezes up az well and does not come out of it and does not reconnect and i have to start all over again. do u have any idea what maybe causing this?? thank u for your help.

yes i still need help with this prob. i still gettin that message after 5 to 10mins of game play about the wiimote 1 has timed out by the system on my ps3 controller and i have the newest build as well i really really want 2 play this game very bad using my ps3 controller hooked up on my usb port if anybody knows how to fix this so i can play the game all the way threw without a prob. plz tell me thank u for ur time

NTSC users (both NTSC-U and NTSC-J) would need to use this trick or else the game will freeze every 5-10 minutes ingame:

1. Get WiiScrubber, NSMB.Wii PPF-Patches package and PPF-O-Matic (Google them, don't ask in this thread)
2. Run MakeKeyBin.exe for generating 2 files: key.bin and kkey.bin and place these files in WiiScrubber's folder
3. Run WiiScrubber and extract main.dol of your NSMB Wii iso
4. Patch this main.dol with PPF-O-Matic using right region PPF-Patch
5. Replace maid.dol you patched with one in your iso with WiiScrubber and save
6. Have fun!

Known Problems

• If someone has problems with saving, read this post, as of there is no single problem with saving in this game.
• If you get looping background problem after choosing amount of players, it means that revision you use is old and needs to be updated (look up General Discussion forum)
• If you have graphical problem, there is no way to fix it

i have a new qustion how do i play two players with 2 ps3 controllers on nsmb and mario kart wii??? and wut do i need to download to my pc 4 it 2 read my second ps3 controller?? hope to hear sumthin back asap
