I've been all over the net the last couple days trying to figure out my problem. I have an iogear bluetooth adapter and I use the microsoft stack that installs automatically when I first plugged it in. I have a Japanese wii controller(shouldn't matter but I'll mention it anyway) and I wonder if pressing the synch button inside the battery cover messed anything up...Anyway, I press and hold the 1 and 2 buttons to try and synch the controller to my computer. My computer finds it and I've read that the lights should not stop blinking, mine does though. Even after using a tip from a guy here that you should hold the 1 and 2 buttons until the controller synchs and keep holding it until you open up dolphin and it should go from 4 blinks to just one solid light. Problem is that the 4 blinking lights turn off after like 30 seconds. Also, no matter what button I press the lights blink for a couple seconds like if it's trying to find a wii or something. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and sorry for the long story but I wanted to cover all angles. I don't think this matters either but I've tried a billion different revisions but I honestly think it has nothing to do with that. Please help a guy out, thanks.

Sorry for the triple post but this might help someone hopefully.
I had to use bluesoliel for it to work. Go to the bluesoliel website and download it and install that stacker on your comp. Your wiimote wont work with the standard crap that gets installed when you plug in your bluetooth dongle. ![]() ![]() 01-04-2010, 10:02 AM
it does work with "the standard crap" that gets installed... you just needed to press the red button again before checking and unchecking "use real wiimote" on dolphin. Otherwise, it will disconnect again.
bluesoliel is an abomination.
My Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0ghz - w7/Ubuntu 11.04
