Wiimote Sync with Dolphin Bar

Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have searched all over the forums but haven't found a solution to my exact problem. I have a real Wiimote that syncs to my PC via Bluetooth and is read by Dolphin Emulator flawlessly. I also have a Mayflash Dolphin Bar that I use for my Wii U, (The Wii is on one side of the room and the bar is on the other...its a big theatre room so the Mayflash bar allowed me to power the sensorbar from a wall socket instead of the Wii).

The problem is...Dolphin will read the Wiimote fine and the bottons work in game, but the Mote can't "see" the sensor bar. What I think happened is that the Wiimote can either be synced with the PC or with the Dolphin Bar....but not both at the same time. This would probably be fixed if I plugged the USB from the Dolphin Bar in to the PC, but thats not an option.

Anyone have any ideas? Am I missing something completely with my setup through Dolphin/PC/Dolphin Bar?

So are you only using the dolphin bar as an IR bar? How far away from it are you?

Not terribly far. Maybe 4 yards away at most from where I was testing it. I walked back and forth to see if the Mote would pick up the bar, but nothing. And yea...it's being used just as an IR bar.

Have you checked to see if any of the lights are burnt out? If you look at it while it is on with a camera you should be able to see the LEDs.

Yea Ive tested it completely. It works perfectly fine on the Wii U....just not while the Wiimote is paired with the PC and using Dolphin. I can't figure out why having the Wiimote paired with the PC would give it issues just reading the IR sensors....the only thing I can think of is the pairing issue.

The Dolphin Bar does flash like its waiting to be sync with a remote....the only problem is that I can't do that while staying paired with the PC.

Im thinking more and more that the bar has to be plugged in to the PC and can't be used as just an IR bar for Dolphin. Back to the drawing board

Now that I think of it, I believe the bar turns off the IR if nothing it connected to it.
