I use Motionjoy for my Steam and PSX/2 gaming so not being able to have it would be really disappointing. I'm considering getting a new dongle but finding one that would play nice with Motionjoy seems impossible.
What happens when I plug in the dongle after installation of everything is that Windows starts installing its own driver for it automatically. When in installed fresh, it installs perfectly fine and I get everything. After several reboots, the computer just doesn't pick up the dongle's bluetooth capabilities and instead renames it to "BCM92046DG-CL1ROM".
I have no yellow exclamation triangles on any of my devices. Here is a screenshot of the Device Manager when the install works;

I'm going to do the reboots now and see if it removes the bluetooth stuff. If it does, I'm going to scan for hardware changes and if that doesn't do anything, I'll try the link.
And oh man, that kind of seems worse than my issue...!

First two reboots and so far no problems. I still have not attempted to install Motioninjoy drivers. I'll try a few more reboots. If the install persists, I think I know the reason. Motioninjoy was using my dongle all by itself for the PS3 wireless controller, acting permanently as the dongle for PS3 and not universal. Of course that's just speculation but apparently PS3 controllers and Motioninjoy does that...?
