Wiimote Speakers

I've been having an issue with using a real wiimote on dolphin. When I turn on speaker data and an event that emits a speaker sound to the wiimote happens it comes out all glitchy and just unrecognizable. So can anyone give me some helpful pointers on how to fix this

What kind of wiimote are you using? Have you tried bluetooth passthrough?
