I was using some version of dolphin between 4.0-5800 and 4.0-6600 and I was able to use my Wiimote with ease through many upgrades using the 1+2 button method. The remote is an RT and when it wouldn't recognize it, now the instructions say to press the red sync button to get dolphin to detect it. That does not work and neither does the 1+2 method anymore after version 7400 I think

The Wiimote is paired with osx and I have tried it connected in BlueTooth menu and disconnected.

Please help, I'm not sure what to try next.

oh and I don't know if it's related, but I also cannot disable continuous scanning or hit refresh. If I do then the program freezes.

ok I deleted the wiimote1 entries in WiimoteNew.ini and turned off continuous scan in Dolphin.ini
then I was able to press refresh and keep hitting 1+2 and it synced up. It seems continuous scan is broken?? I'm just glad I got it synced

I reported continuous scanning issue:
https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/is...il?id=8892
It happens on 10.10.4 as well, and not only with original mac, but with Hackintosh as well (I'm using 3rd party BT adapter).

BTW. Do You firstly pair Wiimotes with mac from BT settings, and then connect it with Dolphin, or You just "ignored" them and only seek them in dolphin?

About Disabling continuous scanning - there is workaround. From terminal go to "cd /users/USERNAME/library/Application\ Support/Dolphin/Config" and edit Dolphin.ini. There will be setting called "WiimoteContinuousScanning" - set it to false.

Both initial times now, the first time I used dolphin and now after deleting the device I have paired it in osx first.
