Unfortunately that's a known issue on macs.
If you can't access the GUI to turn it off, you can remove the option manually by going to Drive\Users\[yourname]\Library\Application Support\Dolphin\Config\Dolphin.ini and changing "WiimoteContinuousScanning = True" to "WiimoteContinuousScanning = False".
