hey all i am trying to connect a wiimote on windows 7 x64. the device shows up in the bluetooth device menu as it should but when i press any button on the remote it flashes all four lights and goes out just like before. I tried using bluesoleil but after i connect the hid and it shows the green line to the orange circle, it disappears after 4 or 5 seconds. I can reconnect, but the problem persists. I downloaded the free version of bluesoleil with the 2mb transfer restriction so maybe this has something to do with it but i dunno. any help would be awesome thanks

hi
i have a question because of an problem with the wiimote, but at first my pc specs: Windows 7 Professional 64Bit Intel Core i5 @3,6 ghz (in Turbo mode 4,0ghz) Ati Radeon 4870 512mb Dolphin svn 4744 now my question: so the problems appears while using two wiimotes (emulates or real makes no difference). when i start the game everything work fine i could choose character (nsmb) and could play. but after a few minutes dolphin loose the connection with the wiimotes, so i cant do anything. when i look in tools there is no connected wiimote detectet and i cant make a tick on these options. i hope you understand where my problem is and could help me. one thing i have to say is that all is working fine when i only use one wiimote. Ps.: Excause my bad english. 12-31-2009, 12:40 AM
Did you try r4754 ?
Quote:2. Connect/Disconnect Wiimote on the fly, no need to pause game Won't fix your problem, but it's a good workaround. 12-31-2009, 03:56 AM

The wiimote shows up in my bluetooth devices, but when i turn it on it blinks for a couple seconds and just dies..... everytime. Would dual booting another operating system help? im currently using w7 x64
You have to remove the wiimote device from Windows (into Device & printer menu), then right click on it and delete it.
Then, re sync Windows and the Wiimote, you should have the 4 leds blinking for ever. (if not, then try again ^^ ). After that, start Dolphin and a Wii game, if you see the 1st led only on the Wiimote it worked, be sure that you have set dolphine to use real wiimote in the wiimote plugin option menu. 01-05-2010, 03:45 AM
I've repeated those steps many times and my wiimote has never once continued to blink after syncing and installing the drivers. It makes the device found sound on windows Da Da or whatever then the wiimote immediately stops blinking. I'm using a knockoff version of the wiimote. Will that make a difference?

Could be, yeah.
Because with (at least) official Wiimote, if it does blink with 4 leds for few seconds, then it means that you are out of sync. Maybe bluesoleil damaged Windows driver, it's not the 1st time we see that, you might be able to try again with a fresh OS, but I can't say it will work for sure, try installing on a new partition quickly for testing purpose. |
