Hello!
I'm having problems using the wiimote on my PC.

This history happens in a Windows Vista Ultimate x64 with sp2.

I recently bought a USB bluetooth dongle, a generic one, it's blue, oval shape, written only bluetooth, bought from ebay. Together came a CD with bluesoleil 2.x... Doesn't works without it. With lots of work I was able to install it, been able to active the Wiimote. But, when I enter dolphin, nothing. It's like the software doesn't tell the windows what to do. The lights still blinks, no rumble, nothing happens ingame.

Tested with bluesoleil 3.x, this one find the WM, but doesn't refresh services/active it.

Later I installed the bluesoleil 6.0... this one find the WM, and in the dolphin, while configuring the wiimote plugin, lights the first light and do the ramble, as it should do. But when I start a game, it give me a blue screen of death! Every emulator rev, every wii game, even programs made for the remote, my PC just restarts.

So, I tested in my Mac, same USB bluetooth, same remote, and like a good Mac, my WM was easily recognized and I was able to use it like a mouse. So the problem is not in my hardware, right?

Please, I'm going crazy here, I bought the wiimote, nunchuck, sensor bar, Zelda TP game, just for dolphin (don't have a real Wii), and I was not able to find a good solution so far. Could anyone help me?

My PC: Phenom x3 8450, Asus M3A78-EM, ATI HD3650.

Thanks for the help.
(PS, sorry for the bad English, not my first language)

sounds like a driver issue. Vista has the worse bt support. Try upgrading to windows 7. I used to have the same issues till I updated.

Hello!
Thanks for the reply.
I'm downloading the Win7 x64 right now, but I never used it. Will I have a better performance in dolphin? the same? It will be better with other games? Will I have to format my Vista and reinstall everything again?
Thank you again for the help.

This also happened to me. I corrected it by using another vers of blue soleil and it worked. Vers 5.x did for me.

No os change here....

Ok, I tried to install the bluesoleil 5.x in my Vista, but I wasn't able to install it right, my BT adapter was even not found. But then i installed in a fresh Vista x64 SP1 and it worked! I don't tested in dolphin tough, need to install the VGA drivers, but with wiimoteconnect I was able to use it as a mouse, with motion and IR (candles yet). But since was not in my primary gaming OS, I still got some work to do.

I'm almost done downloading the Win7 x64, if is the case I could install it. But will I have a notable better performance in dolphin? As I searched this weekend It will be generally better, but specifically in the dolphin emulation and other games will I see some more FPS?
