Hi everyone!
Today I started to configure the Dolphin Emulator and tried to connect a (unfortunately a 3rd party model) WiiMote to my PC. (It is a Wiimote from a gamestop store.)
At the beginning I tried to connect my WiiMote to my desktop-PC.
(OS: Windows 7, here I used a Bluetooth-Dongle from "Trust" LINK)
Actually the first steps were quite simple and no errors occured. After installing the required drivers and software from the CD i had no problems in detecting the Wiimote with the Microsoft BT Stack.
Also the Wiimote's detection went quite well in Dolphin - the Remote vibrated and Real Wiimotes detected changed to "1" - as far so good.
But then after starting "WiiSportsIsland 3" the Game did not reacted to any buttons I pushed on the Wiimote. (No button did work!)
After some lecture i found out, that there might be problems with 3rd party Wiimotes and Dolphin. A solution to that problem might be the use of another BT-Stack instead of the Microsoft-BT-Stack. So I tried several Stacks, but no one did work. I was not even able to install these software packages, as the installer did not found a bluetooth device (i guess the BT-Dongle was not recognised.) The software I used (and that failed to install) was:
- BlueSoleil v.8
- Toshiba BT-Stack v8
- Widcomm BT-Stack (v. ??)
This was the first one-way.
After being frustrated i tried to do the whole procedure on my notebook (DELL XPS 1530M with Intel T9300 Dualcore and Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT and 4GB RAM and integrated Bluetooth device. OS: Windows XP
Well... i also installed my Bluetooth device with the appropriate drivers / software (in my case the BT-Stack was the Widcomm BT-Stack). That one also recognized the Wiimote, but when i want to register it in Dolphin the error:
"A supported bluetooth device was not found. Only Microsoft Bluetooth Stack is supported."
After that i had no ideas anymore.
I hope you are able to help me.
Thank you!
(Excuse me for some bad-sounding passages as my english-skill should not be the best, but I think you understand the main idea
)
