Hello people! Smile

I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum... I got a problem with the dolphin emulator...
Right now I'm using Dolphin 3.0-410 with Motion Plus, because I wanted to play Zelda Skyward Sword but it didn't start without the Motion Plus add on...
So I used Dolphin before with a PS3 Controller and the DS3 Tool, for Fatal Frame 4, took some time to get the right settings, but then worked great!
Now my problem is, whatever options Im trying, in Zelda Skyward Sword the cursor won't move for real in the Choose Name Screen... I can't even start it, because I can't clik the "Game Start" Button on the lower right, the cursor only moves in the middle screen... Sad However it does work right after starting the game on Dolphin (the "Move the cursor to the middle of the monitor to calibrate the wiimote...you know...")
I tried different graphic options alread, but nothing changes anything...

Not only is the build you're using outdated, it was unofficial to begin with. If you want support, you'll have to go to JPeterson about that. If you want to play WiiMotion Plus games, your best option is to use a real Wiimote.

Well...thanks for nothing I guess.
Thought a forum was supposed to be nice and helpful, ah well... Not my fault, if the game needs Motion plus... I tried with the newest version first, the 4.0, but its the same.
But whatever, guess gonna try it myself and tell my 15.000 subs on YT how friendly everyone is here, lul...

4.0 is really very old too, and technically isn't supported here either. We can only support 4.0.2 and newer, and even then, our first response will usually be to switch to the latest build (4.0-6215 right now) as in 95% of cases, whatever issue someone's having will be fixed by upgrading. You've found pretty much the only exception to that, emulated Motion Plus, and the reason this isn't implemented is that when it used to be in a testing branch, no-one managed to do it well enough to even complete most Motion+ games (everyone either had to use other people's saved games to skip past bits or buy a motion plus adapter in the end), so there was no point continuing. When the only input device with enough degrees of analogue freedom to cover everything already works, no-one really benefits from adding a hacky way to make other things sort-of work in a very few cases.

Also we have enough publicity that moaning on your youtube channel won't cause us many problems - in fact it may even be helpful if fewer people ask support questions here versus not asking at all.

You have an issue that can only be fixed by using real hardware. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you wanted to here, but it's the only solution. We have a policy of only supporting 4.0.2 or newer. We also can't be expected to provide support for other people's unofficial changes, which is why I told you to talk to JPeterson, the author of the old Dolphin branch with keyboard/joystick bindings for the WiiMotion Plus.

No need to be rude. Just point out where he/she has made a mistake.
