I'm managed to play the legend of Zelda-Skyward sword.

This is my first time using dolphin(ver 3.5), after successfully installed and opened the game, i encounterd a serious problem, i'm stuck at a point which the screen read "connect the wii motionplus accessory Nunchuk to the Wii remote....".

No matter what bottom i press the game wouldn't go on. However when i press the home bottom on the wiimote the home screen would appear(so i guess this is a proof that the remote is working.)i search for the forums for answers, however i still couldn't solve it. So i'm here asking for help.

Here are some information that might be critical for the problems. I'm using an original WII remote and nunchuck(Nintendo RVL-CNT-01) i'm using a sony laptop(which have the function to detect wii remote so i'm not sure whether or not i should plug in a bluetooth dongle like everybody else.) Yes and thats pretty much all i know about it.

Sorry for the poor English.
I really hope the problems could be fixed, i would be vary vary grateful if you guys can give me a helping hand. thank you vary much!!!! Blush

Does it work with other games?

Have you got a sensor bar?

For this game you can't use keyboard + mouse with "classical" builds. You'll have to use Emulated Motion Plus

Try other games to make sure it doesn't come from your built-in BT adapter.
But I guess this isn't the problem since your Wiimote seems to be recognized by Dolphin.

Switch on the Wii and place your sensor bar so that it's aligned with your laptop.
But the best deal is to get a wireless sensor bar. Or you can use the "candle trick" Tongue (use 2 candles as light spots)

Are we sure the issue isn't just that he doesn't have the Wii motion+ accessory attached? That'd be my guess, and I've not seen anything suggesting otherwise here.

Maybe. But It looked obvious to me he knew he had to use this Tongue

Place sensor bar on the laptop where you can point your wiimote to it and you have to keep 3 feet (1m) distance from it

Do you have a Wiimote Plus (Wii motion Plus inside wiimote) or a normal Wiimote + motion Plus add-on ?
If you used a normal wiimote without motion plus add-on , you would not be able to play this game

I'm tired of having to tell people this, but your profile says you're using 3.5-367, a really damn old build that you got from the wrong site. Get a newer one from here: http://dolphin-emu.org/download/
