Hey guys, just got one of those power a ultra sensor bars, wanted to test it out with Dolphin and ran into an issue. I can connect my wiimote just fine with the controller settings, and I loaded up the default control profile for a stock wiimote. All the buttons are working fine, on the nunchuk as well. But aiming at the sensor bar, the pointer only goes up and down, with horrible responsiveness. I tried the sensor bar with my actual wii; it works flawlessly with no issues so I can tell it's not the sensor bar. Can anybody help me out on this one?

Since you said you loaded a default control profile, it sounds like you have Dolphin set to "Emulated Wii Remote". You should set it to "Real Wii Remote" if you want to use a sensor bar. (With "Emulated Wii Remote", Dolphin tries to simulate a sensor bar using MotionPlus instead. Perhaps the reason it was working so badly for you is because you don't have MotionPlus?)

Thanks a lot man, I thought I looked through everything and didn't even notice that one drop down, ahh man, you're a life saver haha. Also I don't have motion plus either, would've never guessed you could emulate the sensor bar through the motion plus, that's pretty awesome actually |
