I'm trying to use the Wii pointer so I can play games like Mario Galaxy, but no matter what I do, the pointer never appears. I'm using a genuine Wii remote plus, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong! If anyone could help, many thanks will come your way.

Do you have a sensor bar? It's required for the pointer...

Your sensor bar is probably not working. While it's powered on, look at it through a smartphone camera or similar, you should see two clusters of light at each side (in fact, that's all a sensor bar have inside, a bunch of IR LEDs -- no communication is done at all between it and the console/Dolphin)...

Well, it appears that the only lights on the wireless one are for a sleep function. I'll just move the wired sensor bar and the Wii into the new room with my laptop. |
