Wiimote pointer not pointing

Hi all,

Specs:
Core i7 970
10GB RAM
GTX 580
2x1TB RAID 0
Rocketfish Micro Bluetooth adapter

Firstly, thanks for the help. I have been trying to mess with this wiimote and get it to work with Dolphin, but it won't.

So, the buttons work, but the pointer will not work. I used WiiYourself and verified that the Wiimote is in fact picking up and outputting it's location based on the wireless sensor bar I purchased.

Things I've tried:
BlueSoleil drivers
windows 7 bluetooth drivers
dolphin latest build for win x64
dolphin 3.0
dolphin 2.0
restarting my computer
reinstalling wiimote drivers

The wiimote is a http://www.gamestop.com/wii/accessories/wii-remote-with-gripz/76046

The sensor bar is working; I saw the lights on my video camera.

Thanks,

How have you determined that it is not working in Dolphin.

I tried SSBB, MarioKart, Grand Slam Tennis, and The Mario Soccer Game (forgot name).
No cursor in any of these.

Brawl does not have a pointer.
Mario Kart Wii does. I don't know which MK you are testing. :|
I don't know about the others.

Based on how Dolphin handles a real wiimote it is very unlikely that the buttons and acceleration would work, but not the IR.

Test with Mario Kart Wii.
If the sensor bar is working within GlovePIE, and the buttons/accel work in Dolphin, then the sensor bar will work in Dolphin.

I messed with it some more, and for some reason it works now! Thank you for your help; Dolphin is awesome!

I have a similar issue with the pointer. It was working fine a few days/weeks ago, but now suddenly, I have to be extremely close (three inches away) to the sensor bar in order for the pointer to work at all. I thought it might be due to the sensor bar running out of battery power, but the batteries I put in are fullly charged.

I'm using a class 2 generic blue tooth 3.0 + HS Compliant USB adapter that is suppose to support up to 20m range. My PC specs are:

Mainboard : ECS A790GXM-AD3
> Chipset : AMD 780
> Processor : AMD Athlon II X2 240 @ 2800MHz
> Physical Memory : 4096MB (2 x 2048 DDR3-SDRAM )
> Video Card : ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

DirectX : Version 11.00
Windows 7
I think I found out what the problem is! If you disable the wiimote motor option, it causes the pointer to not function properly. Re-enabling it seems to allows it to work correctly again. This is with the real Wiimote+(the new one in black) and Nunchuck.
