hello, can anyone help me on this problem? i've built one of those usb diy sensor bar. i used a pair of 2 leds on each side, and the distance from middle of the left pair to the right pair measures 7.5 inches. i tried playing animal crossing city folk and when it came to the part where i could change the date, well, i can't see the wiimote's hand pointer on the monitor screen. could this be 'cause my diy sensor is missing something? or a wrong setting in dolphin? i'm using revisions 4771 and 5038, both have the same issue....

Does it work in other games ? Have you paired it up in the wiimote plugin ?

Is it even recognized as a device by windows ?

You can't pair up a sensor bar as suggested, because it doesn't send or recieve any kind of data. It merely emits infrared light so that your wiimote can triangulate it's position and distance compared to the bar (and thus, the screen).

If your wiimote works, it's not a problem with dolphin or the wiimote (because wiimote automatically sends pointer data via BT if it can calculate position info via infrared). Try with candles for example, which emit infrared light, about 8 inches apart. If that works, then the problem is with your LEDs in the bar you made yourself; They are either not emitting anything at all or the signal is too weak (or is not recieving electric current from power source).
