Hello. So, basically I've installed Dolphin to play Just Dance on pc, and since in order to play it's required to use a wiimote, i managed to connect it to my pc and it works just fine. The problem is that, since I don't own a wii sensor bar with a usb port, I can't use the pointer with the wiimote in menues and stuff. Also, the arrows on the wiimote work only in specific aereas of the game so I really require a pointer to play the game. Now, my question is, is a wii sensor bar with a usb port the only solution or is there anything else I can do? By the way, if this helps, I actually own a wii sensor bar, but the port is wii specific so I can't connect it to my pc. Thanks in advance.

In the latest version of dolphin you can configure your wiimote and then also use keyboard/mouse as IR.

If you plug in the sensor bar to your Wii and keep your Wii turned on, you will be able to use the sensor bar for Dolphin.

There is also some stuff you can do in the controller configuration to get a pointer without having a sensor bar (either using the mouse or using MotionPlus), but plugging the sensor bar into your Wii is probably the best solution if you can put the Wii close enough to your computer.

Hello. I was wondering, how would I be able to connect my Wii console to my PC? I've looked at multiple videos and other forum threads (this one found most helpful so far), but I can only mainly find that I need a Dolphin sensor bar, or the video was about connecting a Wii Remote. I also tried doing "Add Device" in control panel while console was in sync mode, but I was unable to find the console showing up on the list. Thank you for your current help on the subject!
