Hi everyone, I've got a wiimote plus with a serial number ending in z-04, in the Dolphin Connection guide they're called RVL-CNT-01-TR, and i'm trying unsuccesfuly to connect it to my PC (windows 10).

Further in the guide its said "if you're using Windows 8 or newer, all you need to do to connect -TR Wii Remotes is the typical Wii Remote connectivity as described in Configuring Controllers". I do as it is said, and although my computer perfectly finds it, and it also appears in the Dolphin controller settings (i listed as a real wiimote), when i start a game it won't work: it'll only do something when I press a button but it wont recognize any movement.

Is there a solution to this? is it that the wiimote is broken, or is it that i mandatory need to buy the dolphin bar?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if it's an obvious question or if it's already answered, i'm new here Heart

If the problem is that the pointer doesn't work, you either need a sensor bar (not the DolphinBar unless you specifically want its quirks) or you can emulate the sensor bar by turning on Connect Wii Remotes for Emulated Controllers and mapping your real Wii Remote to an emulated Wii Remote.

Thank you so much, it worked!! Big Grin Althought the movement is kind of rough, i hope to solve it calibrating it...

but the nunchak still won´t work even when i have it activated in "extensions", is there a way to solve this?

and which sensor bar would you recommend then? a sensor bar for the wii would work on pc?

Yes, if you plug it in to a Wii. If you don't want to have to do that, look for a USB-powered or battery-powered one.
