1st. of all, my congratulations for those that are making this great program, it AWESOME, and Happy New Year to all.

I've been searching about this for a couple of days and I couldn't figure out how to solve this. Sorry if this has been asked, but I couldn't find any answer.

I have installed on diferent folders, the builds 4525, and 4771, they both work ok; when I select "Dolphin Configuration", under the "Plugins" tab, I have the "Graphics", "DSP", "Pad" and "Wiimote" options, all with their respective selections, and all works good.

The problem comes here: I've made a new folder where I've unzipped 4788 build (and now another with 4789 and same problem) and now, all the plugins appears ok except for "Wiimote", it apears in blank, and when I pull down the options to select one wiimote option (I know, there should be only one), it's blank too. If I try to start any game ignoring this, it says that dolphin couldn't connecto to wiimote, then says core-something and then, dolphin crashes. If I run builds 4525 or 4771 everything goes fine.

I've re-installed DirectX9 (I'm using windows XP) and Microsoft C++ 2008 runtimes as someone suggested in another thread but It didn't solve this. I've tried to copy some configuration files from one build to another but I'm not very sure which ones I have to copy so I've tried randomly without success.

I don't know what else to try, any help/suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks for reading this.

Open your Dolphin.ini in the User/Config folder.
Go to the [Plugins] section.
See if there are any abnormalities or simply copy here your plugins' config config like this:

GFXPlugin = Plugins/Plugin_VideoOGL.dll
DSPPlugin = Plugins/Plugin_DSP_HLE.dll
Pad1Plugin = Plugins/Plugin_PadSimple.dll
Pad2Plugin =
Pad3Plugin =
WiiMote1Plugin = Plugins/Plugin_Wiimote.dll

Thanks for your help but it doesn't work. It's very strange! With the 4714 rev it's working but not with the last revs.

Thanks for your response, I'll try as soon as I make my daughter sleep (it's about 21:20 here in my country) I'll give you feedback saying how it goes as soon as I try (in about 20-40 minutes, it's up to how sleepy is my daughter Smile ). Thanks again!!!!!
well, my daughter locked herself in the bathroom so it gave me some time to try a couple of things:

1o. I've deleted everything in the "user\config" folder and started dolphin again, dolphin re-created dolphin.ini but didn't re-created IR Pointer.ini (it was there when I fist unzipped dolphin), but nothing happened, the same problem is still there.

2o. I've deleted the entire "config" folder and I've copyed it "as is" from the 4771's folder (the 4771 build works good without this issue) but it didn't solve it.

3o. As CacoFFF asked, here are the lines of my dolphin.ini config file:

[General]

Pad2Plugin = Plugins/Plugin_DSP_HLE.dll
Pad3Plugin = Plugins/Plugin_Wiimote.dll
Pad4Plugin =
WiiMote1Plugin = Plugins/Plugin_Wiimote.dll

Thanks for your help, my daughter is calling me (she's 5 years old Smile ) I'll be back soon.

Exactly what happened to me.
The patch in this thread solves that error

Of course, you would need to be able to compile the source code.
