Yeah it could be because of the bluetooth dongle not working well.

Here's a list that might be of interest for you of known working bluetooth devices:

I'd been looking for this list but I couldn't find it.
Anyway his adapter is in the list so it should work. I guess the problem comes from his Wiimote (although he said it was an official one)

You're actually right, the adapter is in the list of working devices. I'm not a tech expert but could it be because of Linux or bad drivers?

Anyway I'm glad I found the list too, great to have around in the future.

Maybe. That's why I asked him if he could use other BT devices with his dongle

It might be worth your time to reinstall the Bluetooth package listed on Dolphin's google code wiki (I believe it is libavbluetooth or sth like that).

Have you tried "Alternate Wiimote Timing" (right click on the game => properties)?

sorry for the delay

I think this is a dolphin-emu problem, since when using wminput this problem doesn't happens

in some way, dolphin loses the sync with wiimote and then it segfault the emulator after it tries to disconnect the wiimote that was already loosed the sync

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std:Confusedystem_error'
what(): Resource deadlock avoided
Aborted

Note: the wiimote works fine with my wii console, it doesn't loses the sync as happens with dolphin-emu, I am saying that because most people that reads this topic thinks the problem is the battery
