I have this wiimote that pairs up as RVL-CNT-01 (no TR) it shows up in Dolphin and vibrates but when I start a game none of the buttons seem to have any effect.

I downloaded this tool that shows the input of the wiimote on screen and works as expected. It shows all the buttons correctly.

Tool: http://www.wiihacks.com/general-homebrew...t-app.html

WiiMote: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/remote-with...-904456396

Any idea?

Windows 7
i7 920
12 GB RAM
Dolphin 3.0

Which version of Dolphin are you using? And are you sure you have selected Real Wiimote in the list?

Dolphin 3.0. And Yes I selected "Real WiiMote", it pairs fine. It then vibrates and the Wiimote's first LED turns blue. Then I start a game and no button works.
I used to do the same thing with another Wiimote which worked fine. The one that doesn't work also has Motion Plus but it isn't a -TR.

That's strange, I use the 3.0 version also.
I usually just press buttons 1 & 2 on the Wiimote, click pair up and it gets connected and ready to use.
If it says 1 Connected, then you should be able to start using it in Dolphin with no issues.

Hmm...

The information in that thread might work.

Although in 3.0 there is no such thing as Alternate Wiimote Timing in the game properties by right clicking the game.

I believe in 3.0 the setting he's looking for is called Disable Wiimote Speaker.
That have solved my issues I once had with Wiimote disconnects in some games.

Don't know if it will work, but he could try it.

And one more thing... I clicked on that link Baske1982 with the Wiimote you bought and got a question for you.
Is that Wiimote you bought an official one from Nintendo or is it a 3rd party made one?
Because that could make a HUGE difference if it's 3rd party made and certainly create issues like this.

Don't want to sound like a party pooper here or something but there ain't nothing good coming out from those Wiimotes.
Official Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 Wiimotes is the only ones working 100% flawlessly.

You have the same problem as me. We have the same controllers.
I asked in another post but no one found a solution.

Thanks everybody for your responses.
I'm sort of glad to hear that I'm not the only one who is having this issue with the NEW 2in1 controller, and to answer Gabriel Belmont's question, I'm sure this is a 3rd party controller considering the price and the lack of the Wii logo. The thing is, I have successfully connected other 3rd party controllers and those worked fine. It made me believe that potentially all 3rd party controllers could work, apparently not.
I'll give some of your suggestions a try but it seems daehoidar has tried virtually everything already and didn't manage to get it working.
