Wiimote not connecting to my PC or Dolphin

So earlier today I was trying to connect my wiimote to Dolphin, it previously worked fine and I had no issues but I left the emulator running while I was talking to a friend and didn't do anything with it, and when I went to use it again, it wouldn't pick any inputs up. I closed the game, went again and it wouldn't take any inputs.
I closed Dolphin and I couldn't get the wiimote to sync up, I tried syncing it to Windows and got nothing, I did some googling and all the things I tried were met with nothing.

Also, side note, I use a Power A switch controller and that won't connect to Dolphin, and neither will my 8Bitdo wireless GCN/Wii Accessory Switch adapter.
Any ideas from anyone?

• Download the latest beta/development version of Dolphin from here.
• Never connect/pair the Wii remote to Windows. The operating system may interfere with Dolphin's ability to connect with the Wii remote.
• To connect a Wii remote, press "Refresh", then press and hold the "1 and 2" buttons simultaneously on the Wii remote. Or press and hold the "Sync" button for -TR Wii remotes.
• If the remote does not seem to want to connect, make sure that any real Wiis in proximity are switched off for the duration of the pairing process.
• If all this doesn't work, then try Bluetooth Passthrough.

I know that Dolphin can connect, I've had it connect many times, and I got it to reconnect after posting this (after a few hours I came back and tried again). It seems that every time I go to play Dolphin for the first time in a day, I have to sit for an hour turning the remote on and off/pulling the batteries in and out to get it to work, even then there's no guarantee. It just decides when it wants to work.
