WiiMote needs to be re-paired every time??

Question

Am I mistaken, or do I need to re-pair the wiimote with my computer every time I launch dolphin?

Evga X58 Motherboard
Core i7 920
12 gb ddr3
3ware 9650SE sata raid controller
4 - 1.5 TB western digital black 64mb cache hdds in raid 5
Nvidia GTX 570 OC edition
Creative SB X Fi
( all this, and i still get shuttering! Huh

Once paired the wiimote should stayed paired when you close dolphin and reopen it unless you restart your box then you will have to re-pair.
