Hi, after lots of fiddling, please can it be confirmed that Dolphin for Android is not (sadly) compatible yet with the official Nintendo Wiimote with built in Motion Plus?
Specs
- nVidia Shield TV (latest update v5.1, which is Android 7)
- Mayflash DolphinBar model W010 (August 2016 firmware) in Mode 4
- Nintendo Wiimote with built in Motion Plus (model RVL-036 which came with my Wii)
- Dolphin 5.0-2742 for Android (and tried many other older builds)
Dolphin settings: currently on default Android settings except changed Controller 1 to real Wiimote. Dolphin is set to continuous Wiimote scanning. Have tried other settings too.
The Wiimote is synced fine with the Dolphin Bar in Mode 4 and works fine with Wii Sports.
Wii Sports Resort though, which requires Motion Plus to function, does not go past the screen requesting I connect the Motion Plus to my Wiimote. The Wiimote works, in the sense I can move the pointer finger using motion, and the buttons work. Zelda Skyward Sword crashes Dolphin instantly but that may be another issue since it doesn't crash on my Android phone, where instead it gets stuck on the equivalent screen as Sports Resort does.
I have done lots of soul searching and internet searching but can't find this issue, at least not with Motion Plus and this controller model.
I experience the expected Android pop up at the start of running the game, where it requests permission for the DolphinBar, and I tick the box and okay it. The controller does momentarily vibrate once, then once again, when I run the game. I have tried the 'refresh Wiimote' Dolphin option in-game.
