I recently started trying Super Mari Galaxy 2 on Dolphin. The game starts off with a decent 60 fps framerate, however when I start the game (from the very beginning), as soon as anything is collected, such as a star bit, the wiimote controller starts to lag, and all input commands and sounds in the controller are delayed.

My PC specs are:
Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.4ghz
Nvidia GTX 460 1gb
6gb ram
Dolphin 3.0-424 release

Use DSP LLE. But you have to dump the two files needed for LLE first. -> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=3823

Also be sure to check Skip EFB Access from CPU. (needed for grabbing the stars)

DSP LLE always causes the sound to stutter for me, as well as lowering the framerate by half ( 20-30fps)

JUST SPENT THREE HOURS WORKING THIS OUT AND MADE AN ACCOUNT TO POST THE FIX FOR THIS!

Right click the game, go to properties, tick 'Alternate wiimote timings' and BOOM no more lag. Seems its the wiimote speaker causing the slowdown, probably not enough bluetooth bandwidth or something. Anyway hope that fixes it for you!
