Haven't used the Wiimote on the PC for ages, but now I find that it's intermittently vanishing, even BEFORE I start up Dolphin. IE this isn't a Dolphin specific problem, but of course I want to use the Wiimote with Dolphin, so .........

I add the Wiimote via the 'add device' option in the Bluetooth control panel. It detects it, installs the drivers, etc. After a few seconds the icon changes to that of 'HID-compliant device' and THEN it vanishes!

This happens most of the time, yet sometimes it's okay.

Any ideas please?

Any ideas please anyone? It's very random, but disconnects itself more often than not within a minute of it being connected.

your BT stack is messed up and the bt dongle needs to be flushed, that's what happened to me, here's what you need to do

1: uninstall your bt stack, then your dongle
2: unplug the device and plug it in again
3: if this does not fix it a complete windows reinstall is necessary ;/

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

Alternatively, if that doesn't work, are there any 3rd party BT stacks that I could try? I have one of the small BT USB dongles (the small black D-shaped one - this one is made by NANO).
