Wiimote keeps flashing (MAC)

Hello Dolphins.

I'm having troubles getting an original Wiimote (no Wiimotion +) connected to my Macbook pro.
I've enabled blue-tooth and the mac finds the controller just fine. after that I started up Dolphin, en tried to connect the controller.
Dolphin finds the controller quite fast and says that 1 controller is connected, but the Wiimote itself keeps flashing (I've waited over 1 hour)
I've tried with Dolphin versions 3.0 & 3.5

Does anyone know a solution to this matter?
(I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I could not find a recent topic about it (only one from 2012 with no solution)

If anyone else is using the same macbook + OS, could you give me a step by step tutorial on how you connect your Wiimote.

Thanks in advance, Whispered.

extra info:
Macbookpro retina with the newest OSX (I believe 10.8.3) (released last december)
internal blue-tooth, i7 & GT 650m
I've tried 3 different Wiimotes (RVL-CNT-01)

Sanity check: Make sure you've set Wiimote 1 to "Real Wiimote".

Also avoid letting OS X steal the Wii Remote. Remove the thing from the Bluetooth preferences, then hold 1+2 and click Refresh in Dolphin.

(FYI, on development builds of Dolphin past 3.5-471, I've had issues connecting remotes, and when I can get 'em connected, input doesn't work in-game. I hate being the only OS X user around.)

Ok, I had read that I needed to let the device get discovered once, and then disconnect the device. so that's what I've done. but you are implying I should tap the "-" (in the blue-tooth configuration panel) to remove the device fully?

I'll see if that works, thanks.

If I do it that way this happens
3 occasions
1. I press 1 + 2, mac asks for a code (0000) press refresh, and it will say 1 connected, however the wiimote keeps flashing
2. I press 1 + 2 + refresh, mac asks for a code (0000), press refresh again , 1 connected, however the wiimote keeps flashing
3. I press 1+2 + refresh, says connected, however the wiimote keeps flashing.
In all cases the Wiimote was completely removed from the bluetooth menu, not just disconnected.
any ideas?

bluetooth is tagged "on" and "detectable"

Maybe you have a new model of wiimote plus (RVL-CNT-01-TR). In this case, I think there isn't anything you can do (maybe I'm wrong, don't know if Dolphin already have a fix for Mac), as the new model have pairing issues...

Could also be an unofficial Wii Remote. Those have issues 70% of the time.

nah, I'm pretty sure they are originals, at least one of the 3 came with the Wii. (and the others are exactly the same + nintendo logo n stuff)
In my first post I also stated it's not a Wiimotion +, that didn't even exist when I bought them :p
so yeah, they are as old as the Wii release date in EU.

I've tried the red sync button as well, to no avail sadly Sad
what exact version of dolphin are you using with your controllers? I'll try that one.

thanks for the help guys.

Stable 3.5 should work fine, though Billiard broke Wii Remotes for OS X shortly afterwards. >_>
