Hey guys I've finally got all the peripherals I need for a authentic Wii experience from Dolphin.
Bluetooth Dongle (ASUS BT211)
Nyko Wiimote
Nintendo Wiimote with motionplus inside
Wireless sensor bar
and dual wiimote charger
I am having SEVERAL issues though (the reason I started a new thread) and I haven't seen any answers in my, admittedly quick, search of the forums.
First issue: My real Nintendo Wiimote will not connect to Dolphin at all. It never has. It does; however, connect just fine to Windows 7 (with the exception that it quickly powers off after blinking a few times). I know that there have been issues with the "TR" wiimotes but I thought that they had been fixed? I just upgraded to the newest Dolphin build and I am still unable to get any kind of connection to this Wiimote. I'd love to just take it back but then I wouldn't be able to play Skyward Sword (which is killing me
).
Second issue: My Nyko remote connects to Windows 7 and Dolphin just fine and stays connected unless I try to connect to a game like Skyward Sword that requires motionplus. No biggie there. The remote operates normally until gameplay starts (that is to say, I can skip through cinematics, etc. without issue). Once gameplay starts the remote acts very laggy and non-responsive. This usually ends in the remote vibrating steadily until I turn it off. The remote shows as connected in both Dolphin and Windows 7 the entire time until I turn it off.
I only have Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles and Skyward Sword at the moment so I am unsure whether the issue is game related.
Basically, I'm asking because at this point there are too many variables for me to start troubleshooting without some better knowledge than what I currently have. If you guys see anything in my post that looks/sounds familiar or have a fix I would greatly appreciate it.
On the plus side I have been playing through Twilight Princess for GC like a mad man and love Dolphin as a whole, I just wish I could get the Wiimotes to work and be stable.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the lengthy post.
(Just to try to weed out possible suggestions) Shiz I've tried in no particular order;
I have attempted to install the Toshiba Bluetooth stack but I am unable to complete installation as it tells me to "Insert Bluetooth device now and press continue". When I press continue the installation hangs and then gives me the same prompt ad nauseum.
I have changed the device driver of the adapter to "Generic Bluetooth Device" (Can't remember where I saw that suggested but I implemented it)
I have completely wiped my computer of any Bluetooth driver then re-installed them.
Forgot to mention I have a Nunchuck as well (but I haven't connected it at any point during the issues the other two wiimotes have been experiencing).
