I got this wiimote when I bought my old wii so.. yeah it should be, also in the back I see "nintendo" under a product code or something, the motion plus and the nunchuk is orignal because they came in nintendo package.

Are you using a sensor bar?

I don't have sensor bar atm but I'm using candles, and I can use apps like "touchmote" to control PC pointer.
I'm going to buy sensor soon
