is this normal?

is incredibly annoying.

before I even try to pair it up it says there's already a wiimote installed in my Bluetooth Devices. then I pair up and it disappears and re-installs itself (as I pull my hair out).

I have the same problem and I just can't fix it either. Would really appreciate if someone could tell us how to solve this problem.

It cannot be solved. However, it takes less than 10 seconds on average for me, so is it really that annoying?

It is for me. Sometimes it says "Device driver was not successfully installed" and I have to completely reboot Windows to try again.

Do you continue to press 1 and 2 while doing this?

I could care less how many times I have to pair or install the driver so long as developers can figure out how to get my particular Wiimote with Wii Motionplus inside working with Dolphin soon.

You mean the specific TR model right?

Yeah unfortunately..

Only after I spent $80+ did I discover it was one of the models that doesn't work with Dolphin. Bought it from Walmart and they didn't have any of the old Wiimotes and the separate Wii Motionplus accessory, only the latest models with Wii Motionplus inside. :/

That sucks really. I got lucky when I bought a new black Wii recently with a Wiimote with built in Motion + that wasn't a TR model. Well the old white Wiimote from the other Wii with the Motion + accessory works dandy but it's smoother not to have an extra accessory to think about that is unwieldy.

But I have a feeling that this whole TR issue is gonna be a thing of the past soon.
