Wiimote in netplay

I did a lot of research on the wiimote in netplay and i know it has been disabled, but when i downloaded an older version of the Dolphin emulator where it was just activated it still didn't work.
Are there any other ways that will let me use a wiimote on netplay?

It has been re-enabled again. Download a recent development build.

If you need more details, please explain what you mean by "didn't work". Did it desync? Did the game not pick up on inputs?

It just disables itself, and yes this is the newest development build for 5.0
