I can't get it working either. It used to. It seems in the latest SVN builds (and maybe as a result of 10.7.3 and changes to Xcode 4.3 might have broke something).

I can get my remote synced with rev 3.0-415 but any build newer than that does not connect. Dolphin states there is a remote connected but the lights on the controller keep flashing. Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. Thought my controller was the problem. 02-24-2012, 04:17 AM

I thought it was the controller too. I misplaced my other Wii Remote so I couldn't test that theory. Sometimes, rarely, I'll have pairing issues if I've used the Wii Remote (or really any Bluetooth device) on more than one Mac. That wasn't the problem. I also went and deleted my Dolphin preferences and that didn't work either. Lastly, using the instructions on the Google Code site, I can't compile Dolphin anymore. I get an error. scons: Reading SConscript files ... Delete("Src/scmrev.h") scons: done reading SConscript files. scons: Building targets ... scons: Nothing to be done for `SConstruct'. Compiling Build/Darwin-x86_64-release/Source/Core/DolphinWX/Src/ARCodeAddEdit.o sh: /Developer/usr/bin/llvm-g++: No such file or directory scons: *** [Build/Darwin-x86_64-release/Source/Core/DolphinWX/Src/ARCodeAddEdit.o] Error 127 scons: building terminated because of errors. /Developer directory changed. It no longer exists in Xcode 4.3. I'm going to change script to point to the new directories and see how that works. 02-24-2012, 09:31 AM
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Wii remote pairing process is way, way harder than it needs to be. If getting it to pair requires rapidly pressing 1+2 or the red synchronization button, it's broken. Period. It's not worth the frustration.

Same here. I even reverted back to build 415 without success. Dolphin posts the 1 Real Wiimote connected and I have 4 flashing lights on the Wiimote.
I just got up two days ago and thought: "I'll update the app just to see what's good and new!" Well now I get the saying "If it's not broke, don't fix it". We should add "[...] or update it". LOL Now Link is stuck in a weird time shifting desert/sea!! And the Princess is going to die!! LOL Or is she???? 02-27-2012, 08:21 AM

Yeah, this is exactly what happens, my real wiimote connects and shows that there is one remote connected, but doesn't respond to anything and just has the two lights flashing constantly. 02-28-2012, 06:53 AM

I had the same problem: I reverted back to build 415 without success. Then I have deleted all dolphin apps and builds with the free app "appcleaner", then I downloaded a fresh rev 3.0-415. So I could fix the it. 02-28-2012, 08:04 AM
Same here, my wiimote works perfectly well under Dolphin v3.0-415.
yet, with more recent builds, Dolphin says "1 wimote connected" but my wiimote keeps flashing. Let me know if somebody wants me to do some testing. BTW, I'm running Snow Leopard. Thanks 02-28-2012, 08:47 AM
I'm going to do what boaboa suggests and do a clean reinstall. The thing is I don't want to lose all the progress in my games.
Can someone please show me where the directory for the saved files are so that I can pull the old swicheroo and jump back into the game? If at all possible. Thanks |
