wiimote in arcadecabinet

First of all, thx for such an awesome emulator and a nice community, I have a wii + games but having an integrated solution with other platforms (emulators) really is awesome!

I build an arcade cabinet for my kids (3 and 4y) which contains amiga, snes, playstation etc and now also a wii emulator (see picture)

The issue I am having when a game is started I cant connect the wiimote, sometimes it works (pressing 1+2) but most of the times I get nothing.

when I connect to dolphin in the wiimote plugin interface it works all the time.

I tried: starting up dolphin (background) with the arcade and before selecting a game connecting to dolphin but it only seems to work consintently when I have the wiimote plugin config screen active

does anyone know of a working setup?

Yes,use bluesoleil
In Wiimote plugin switch to"real wiimote" instead of "emulate wiimote"

I have the real wiimote selected.

I though the bluesoleil wasn't required anymore with windows 7?

Just use search button then you'll see.Only take 3 secs to connect wiimote and the connection is never fail

looks like the other guys beat me to it regarding the wiimote connection, but i just had to say - wow, that's one lovely looking cabinet. wish i had one like that when i was a kid. kudos for keeping it real and running an amiga emulator as well!!

got even worse with bluesoleil, now I have to:

- click on the bluetooth controller icon first and connect to make windows see the wiimote
- then connect inside the wiimote plugin config screen before I can play


used another bluetooth dongle also but having the same issue

what are the correct settings for bluesoleil and the wiimote plugin config?

oh crap, deinstalled bluesoleil but windows wont connect to the wii controller anymore, guess I need to do a full reinstall now the bluesoleil was not working

new edit: after browsing through the posts I ordered a new dongle, see if that helps

wow, thx for the video and the effort, I did the same thing and that works (also worked on windows stack)

but its not the issue

the problem is that I wanted to find a way to connected automatically inside playing a game (by pressing 1+2) since that would enable my kids to play without me needing to help them.
