Wiimote gets connected but doesn't work as expected

Yesterday I received the dolphin bar running the latest firmware, I have the following wiimote:

I added the bar to mode 4 and on the screen I got the message "connected" the wiimote vibrates and the "1" led turns on. Unfortunately only the home button works, no A not moving nothing and I get the wii message that the connection has been interrupted and I have to press A although the wiimote is still connected.
It is because of the wiimote or am i doing something wrong?

Using a third party Wii remote on Windows, even with a DolphinBar, is a recipe for failure unless you're using Bluetooth passthrough.
