Hi guys,

I am having problems with getting a stable connection with my real wiimote in various games. I have tried many builds (I will list these at the end). What happens is I get them message in game that the wii has lost connection to the wiimote. Even if I re-connect it in dolphin, it will not reconnect to the game without restarting.

The main game I have issues with it Tiger woods 10 & 12, it connects for a minute or two, can sometimes play the first hole, but then drops out., this is not isolated, as its also happening in other games, fifa 09 all play, PES 2009, shaun white snowboarding.. etc.

Games that work perfect, ie hours without wiimote dropout are Super mario galaxy & galaxy 2 & super smash brawl.

I have a microsoft USB bluetooth dongle & windows 7 microsoft BT stack.

It happens so much that the only games that are playable are super mario.

I have tried these different builds. (in x86 & x64 both with the same issues)

r7617 - Lectrode
r7676 - lectrode
1.52,1.53,1.59,1.61 - Dirty
1.58 - Extremedude.

In tiger woods 10, using lectrode's builds, the dropout is always exactly in the same spot, at the start of the 2nd hold. In the other builds, it usually happens slightly earlier.

I have tried multiple wiimotes to ensure that It's not a hardward fault.
I have tried disabling the overclocking of my PC, made no difference.

If anyone has any ideas I would be most greatful.

Try 3.0

Try an older revision like 6970

Hi, 3.0 gave the same issues with the wiimote.

6970 fixed all issues. So this begs the question.. is something terribly broken in all versions since 6970 to current with real wiimotes? I can only get less than 50% of my games to hold a stable connection to the wiimote on any version > 3.0 ??

or are there some new settings / enhancements in the latetest versions that can be switched on/off to give a more stable wiimote connection?

THANKS!!

This is because from r6970 to 3.0 (unsure what exactly revision is) the devs implemented initial support to Wiimote speaker, but the feature wasn't stable enough and after this many games started to suffer disconnection issues...
