Wiimote disconnects when starting a wii game

Hey everyone, well I tried adding the wii to blue tooth but wouldn’t work because I need a password. So I had to do the addd a personal area network. Worked. Dolphin picks it up, light comes on and rumbles. But.. when I try launching a wii game (sonic colors) it says (wiimote 1 disconnected by the emulation) I hit alt-f5 connects then disconnects.

I have continuous scanning on, I’m using real wiimote

I have dolphin 5.0- 12409.

Wiimote: RVL-CNT-01

Am I doing something wrong?
