I never have any issues with my wiimote as long as I don't go idle for a while. When I do, the game says the wiimote is disconnected but the wiimote itself is still on. I try pushing buttons but the no wiimote message still shows. I even click the wiimote button and then refresh the controller. I feel the vibration and the game still doesn't recognize it. I have to close and reopen the game for it to work. Is there any way around this?

"If a game thinks a wiimote has been disconnected during play, pressing "Alt-F5" may correct it.

There are guides and FAQs for a reason.
