I have a ASUS Z68V-Pro motherboard that comes with bluetooth. I have a genuine Wiimote (at least I hope so). The bluetooth stack is Windows.

I am able to pair the Wiimote to Dolphin and it vibrates before I open a game. A few seconds into the game, the Wiimote disconnects and all buttons become unresponsive. I can force it to reconnect using alt-f5 and but one button to move past the intro screen, but then it disconnects again.

How can I fix this issue?

Try disabling the wiimote speaker by checking the "Disable Wiimote Speaker" option under the GameConfig tab. To view the tab right click on the game title in dolphin and select "properties".

To view the tab right click on the game title in dolphin and select "properties". Let me know if disabling the speaker solves the problem.

No, it still has the same problem.

Which revision of dolphin are you using? You may want to try a couple diffrent releases just to make sure it isn't a specific bug with the revision that you are using.

I've tried the newest, 7559, and the 3.0 release.

The Wiimote disconnection problem has existed since revision 7272 (according to issue 4608). Yesterday i tried to help another guy that had disconnection problems and he told me that r7692 fixed his problem, so you could try that one. If that doesn't work, i can personally vouch for r7271 working with wiimotes, though that revision has a problem which makes it impossible to play in fullscreen mode. But you can always try a revison below 7271.

Intel Core I5 3570K 3.4Ghz (Turbo Boosts to 3.8Ghz)

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
HP 21,5 HD 1080P Widescreen monitor
Phillips 26 HD Ready Widescreen TV
1x Wiimote + Motionplus add-on and Nunchuck

I fiddled around and I noticed that it only disconnects when I plug in the nunchuk. Is there something I can do to fix this, or do I just have a bad nunchuk?

EDIT: I checked signs to determine if my nunchuk is geniune and it seems to be okay.

Did you try any of the 2 revisions i mentioned?

If you did, i'd say you have a bad nunchuck, though i think it's weird for the Wiimote to disconnect just because its connected with a nunchuck. I really don't see how the Nunchuck would cause this, but anyway, do you have an official Nintendo nunchuck or what?
