Thank you for your time! I'll try another bluetooth adaptor and hopefully that fixes it.

So I bought a new bluetooth dongle and it still isn't working. It's Bluetooth 4.0 but I'm guessing it's not + EDR which is probably the important part huh.

Okay, I only saw this thread now and there are some things I like to point out
(01-09-2020, 12:34 PM)MayImilae Wrote: If you want to use Real Wiimote, do not use HID Wiimote or even your OS level bluetooth.I can't say for macOS and Linux, but on Windows, while the HID Wiimote driver and 3rd-party apps indeed can interfere with Dolphin, pairing the Wiimote through Dolphin (assuming it's on "Emulate a BT Adapter" mode) or through Windows actually results in the same end result. In fact, the Wiimote must be paired on Windows before Dolphin can communicate with it and if you press 1+2 on the Wiimote and hit Refresh on Dolphin, you can notice the Wiimote will now be shown on the list of paired devices on Windows because Dolphin will actually (silently) ask the Windows BT Stack to pair that controller. That system *never* worked with Wii Remotes reliably! This particular chipset (BCM20702) is compliant with Bluetooth 4.0, and, since Bluetooth is backwards compatible, this also includes all previous versions (including 2.0 + EDR, which is the maximum supported by Nintendo Wii, not 2.1 + EDR). I recently did a clean-up on the adapter test results for Bluetooth Passthrough and found 7 different adapters that uses this same BCM20702 chipset and judging from these results, your adapter should work at least in Bluetooth Passthrough mode. Not sure why it doesn't seem to work with the regular "Emulate a BT Adapter" mode, though, could be related to the reliability issues May pointed out. May I ask how exactly are you pairing the Wiimotes? Are you using the default Windows BT drivers or have you installed something else? Do you have any 3rd-party apps or drivers that can talk to Wiimotes? And finally, what exact model is this new BT dongle you bought?
Avell A70 MOB: Core i7-11800H, GeForce RTX 3060, 32 GB DDR4-3200, Windows 11 (Insider Preview)

So idk what I did differently this time but I got it to work now with the old dongle. Thank you for your help!
