I bought a Nyko Wand+ (RVL-CNT-01) and a dolphinbar recently. Plugged everything in and it worked great. Until i walked away for a few minutes and the wiimote turned off and then couldnt get it to pair again Undecided I tried about 8 times and got it to pair again and it worked great until i shut everything off and tried again later and cant get them to pair again Undecided
Any suggestions other than "generic wiimotes are crap" ?
Edit: Also i have tried several versions of Dolphin including 4.0.6080 and 4.0.6029.

It should connect to the bar instantly, does the P1 light come on on the remote? Does the light on the bar stop blinking? If it is connecting to the bar, try pressing ALT+F5 to reconnect the controller to the game.

The p1 light comes on for a few seconds and then goes off. Also the light on the bar goes solid for a few seconds and goes off too. If i put the dolphinbar on mode one i can move the mouse cursor with it and it seems to work until i put it back on mode 4.

In that case it's most likely a defective or incompatible remote. Sorry, try getting an OEM Wii Remote Plus. But first make sure the batteries are good.

tried it on a wii and it works fine so its not a defective controller. Is there anyone working on proper 3rd party wiimote support for dolphin? i cant afford to spend $40 a wiimote and $20 on a nunchuck just to play 2 or three games.

As far as I know, the connection between Wiimote and computer relies only on Bluetooth adapter and its drivers. Dolphin communicates with the drivers, and failure to connect to 3rd party Wiimote is because the BT adapter does not get the same data as it's expecting to get from a Nintendo controller. In which case there isn't much Dolphin can do.
But correct me if I'm wrong with this.

You can use a third-party nunchuck without issues (provided it works fine on a real console). It's just Wiimotes and anything that connects directly via bluetooth that need to be originals.
