Hi guys,
So I just recently got a new computer that has the chops for running Dolphin and decided to do so.
Downloaded the 4.0 client off the website, got everything going smoothly, had the bluetooth dongle arrive, plugged it in and have had no end of headaches regarding controller connection since. In fact I've only managed to get it to connect once.
90% of videos on youtube (including the official Dolphin one) are using one of the older versions that has the Pair Up option in the Wiimote config settings.
I'm using an official Wiimote, then I click refresh in Dolphin, while holding down the 1+2 buttons. Windows recognises the controller, installs the driver, successfully installs the driver.
I close Dolphin, then reopen it and nothing happens, where I believe at this stage Dolphin should be picking up the controller and pairing it to the Player 1.
I cannot hit Alt+F5 to connect the player one controller, that option is greyed out for some reason.
I am using a CSR v4.0 dongle.
It is plugged into one of the USB ports on my motherboard.
The one time I managed to get my controller working was after installing it from scratch. I've tried every option I can think of but this is driving me up the wall and I'm a few steps from saying fuck it and just downloading the 3.0 version that every help video on youtube is using and trying the Pair Up button.
If anyone is had similar issues and can shed some light on things I would immensely appreciate it.
