Hi!
I'd really like to play wii titles on my pc (successfully played Wind Waker through) and for it I bought a wiimote with motion plus (not genuine). For multiplayer purposes my friend gave me his genuine wiimote to try out. The wiimotes connect fine to windows, but dolphin has a really hard time recognizing them and when I finally get one of the wiimotes to respond and start the game (I've tried Twilight Princess for wii and Wii Play Motion) I can maybe get to the first menu window when using the genuine wiimote (enter name in TP and the main menu in Wii Play Motion) and then the wiimote stops responding, the lights turn off and the screen asks to connect a wiimote. I can't reconnect the wiimote while in the game. The non-genuine wiimote does connect but doesn't respond in-game and disconnects just as fast.
I've tried disabling the wiimote speaker and pairing up using both windows and dolphin methods. I've tried Dolphin versions 3.0, 188, 189, 190 and the 6970 revision. The IR pointer works only in the 6970 revision. I've tried playing the games with emulated wiimote, which works fine, so it isn't a problem of too weak hardware. I'm using Windows 7, AMD A8 APU, 8 GB RAM
I'd really appreciate some help because I'd love to play wiimotes as easily as playing GC or N64 games on my HTPC (and I've been longing to play TP on wii for a long time).
