Hello,

I apologize up front if this is a repeat question, but I've scanned the forum extensively and a lot of users have similar problems, but I cannot find one that is the identical (or a solution for that matter).

I'm running Dolphin 4.0-5460 (latest as far as I know) on Windows 7, with a Mayflash DolphinBar. The bar and my wiimote connect without problems, and when I start Dolphin the wiimote vibrates and and the bottom it shows 'wiimote connected'. When I hit refresh in Dolphin, the wiimote vibrates again, so apparently the connection is good. However, when I start a game (say Mario Party 9) and I have to press A and B, there is absolutely no response. I have tried many different versions of Dolphin, all with the same result. I have another controller (apparently a slightly different type) that connects without problems as well, and the A and B buttons respond fine. I can even add the problem controller in-game as a second controller, but it is absolutely impossible to get any other response out of it.

I know it's probably impossible to fix this, but does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Eelco.

Are you running v3 of the Mayflash firmware? And I'm guessing you set Dolphin to use a real wiimote?

Yes, I tried updating the DolphinBar when I received it a few weeks ago, it said I was already on the latest version (or something similar). Secondly, yes, I set it to use a real wiimote....

Can you post pictures of your config and controller tabs?

That's weird, it says its connected.....
have you tried hitting F5 after loading the game to try and reconnect the Wiimote?

I know, I don't get it...

Yes, I've hit ALT+F5 many times and every time the controller reconnects without any problems after hitting ALT+F5 again.

Or do you mean F5 (without ALT)? In that case it just says 'State not found' in the upper left corner of the screen.

Hello,

I experiment exactly the same problem with the Mayflash dolphinBar.
sync is done (rumble on refresh, led 0 is on) but still don't work in game...

I only have one unofficial wiimote (DBPower). That's the problem ?

Any idea ?

spaceyoyo, KHg8m3r,

I think you're right; the unofficial wiimotes apparently don't work. I now have 5 different wiimotes (one ebay-seller was even kind enough to send a replacement), 2 of which are originals and they work fine. Of the other 3, 2 from aforementioned ebay seller have the problem described in this thread, the last is an unofficial one with built-in remote plus which refuses to connect to the Dolphinbar entirely. Bottom line for me is to only use original wiimotes without remote plus, and you're fine with Dolphin and Dolphinbar; using anything else is asking for trouble.
