wiimote connected in Dolphin?

I just tried 4770 as well, but maybe the wiimote is broken in this version, getting a message about 0 wiimotes already installed or something like that...

I am using 4760, which is supposed to work according to the comments I have seen. ( I have tried earlier versions as well)

All of the tutorials I have seen seem to stop at getting the device connected to the PC. I have Windows XP, latest service pack and updates. 3 Ghz duo-core Intel rig.

I am using an ezurio bluetooth dongle and it is recognized as a Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 controller. No passkey. Under the Hardware tab of the Bluetooth properties I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and a TDK Bluetooth USB Adaptor. I can pair my phone with it ok. Under the properties of the wii device, Service tab, there is a check mark in the Drivers for Keyboard, mice, etc (HID)

I am hoping this means my PC is recognizing everything completely. If it is, then the device should just work in Dolphin is what I have been reading.

In Dolphin, Config, Plugins, Wiimote config the input source says Real Wiimote, under Real Wiimote there is a check mark in Connect Real Wiimote.

I don't get the rumble action on the wiimote that I see other people get, but I don't see any option or screen that states the wiimote is up and running in Dolphin.

Now, in the bottom of the right corner in the Dolphin screen it says, Not connected, I start a game and it changes to Connecting. Is this referring to the controller? If so, what other troubleshooting steps can I try and get this working? Do I need a different bluetooth dongle? A different bluetooth stack?

Thanks!

Hi try this. As I have had this problem myself with a few of the later revisions. I found out that through sevral attempts at running the emulator (opening and closing) sometimes dolphin does not shut down correctly and is actually still running even though nothing is visible, which means when you fire it up again it will stay trying to connect because there is another dolphin.exe already running. So open task manager (hold ctrl&alt and press delete. Then find dolphin.exe in the list and right click and end task. Wait for it to shut down then try again.

Also sometimes bluetooth can be a little tricky, and although the wii mote will show up if it has lost connection at all you will need to re-add it to devices. So do that too. Make sure you keep 1&2 buttons held down until everything has installed.
To check, fire up dolphin, untick and re-tick the connect wii mote and it should rumble.

Hope this helps, let me know Smile

Thanks! I held the 1 & 2 buttons down as I re-added the wiimote, and I kept holding them down while starting Dolphin and i got the rumble!!!!

And it now says wiimote connected.

Thanks again!!
