Try using a usb extension cord for the bluetooth dongle in case it is placed in the back panel. Also try not to have too many wireless stuff in the vicinity.

I've seen this before setting up a dongle for one of my friends. In that case, it ended up just being a cheap generic adapter that had basically zero range. He bought a better one and the problem was resolved. There's also the unlikely case that the wiimote itself is damaged in some way that would prevent good communication with the dongle. Try another wiimote if you can get a hold of one, or test yours on a Wii or Wii-U, and see if you can single out the bluetooth device being the issue.

Ignore this if you have a TR remote, but I've seen you tried Microsoft, Toshiba, and BlueSoleil stacks. Have you tried the Broadcom stack? It does not work for all dongles, but the ones that I have seen it work with, it works flawlessly (like mine). I doubt this would fix communication issues, but considering you've been looking for an answer for about 5 months, it won't hurt to try. Tongue

In the case you have a RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimote, your best route is probably investing in a Mayflash DolphinBar as your only other option for Dolphin is the Toshiba stack. Even if you don't, it's still well worth the price as it should support all official wiimotes ever developed now and in the future (unless Nintendo decides to release yet another version, which is doubtful but possible).

If you absolutely must use a dongle, and you don't have a TR wiimote, then I personally suggest a TrendNET dongle as I've had 0 issues with any of the ones I played with. Never tested it with Toshiba stack though as I never had a need for it, all my wiimotes are old, non-TR versions. Anyone is free to offer their own suggestion. I own a TBW-105UB, a friend of mine has a TBW-106UB, and I'm sure a TBW-107UB will work as well.
